Hehe, this is one i've had hanging around for a while. drew this in portugal, well, i finished it when on holiday in portugal. one of the 24 pics i drew there xD god i was on such an enjoyable drawing streak.
anywho, always kinda liked this one. it's a random calico cat, not Alex XD
looks like the poor thing's not gonna be around much longer though. unless the snake lady has something... else in mind for the cute fluffy kitten xD

I just did it while livestreaming on join.me and had fun with it.
I experimented with glowy rings between the eyes. I wasn't sure about it but my viewers thought it looked good.
IΒ looove how i did her eye, and her whole face, the snake i mean. she be cute. and the coils came out well. as did the background which was actually a quick scribble
nothing much else to say i guess. glad i finally got round to doing this. it looks EPIC seeing something in full amazing colour like this after seeing it as a sketch for so long.
i have more coming cus i havent done any kaafan stuff in ages

Wow, a nice long critique here~
i think the coils look fine i nmy opinion but there may be spots that aren't perfect. however, i suspect you might possibly be referring to the bit to her right side where it loops down and then back forward again. what i was trying to do there was perspective that the coils are going back and then looping around and forward, i did my best wit hthe shape of the body and the shape and placements of the underbelly lines and spots as wel las the shading to try and make it as clear and accurate as i could, but maybe i didn't do it well enough.
also about the height, i think it is jsut you xD when doign these thigns i draw an undetailed shape of the victim's body before drawing the coils all over them, rather than drawing the snake and drawing the body in between the gaps. she's about the same height i always do my characters
and yes she's a calico cat XD at least you knew she was a girl, some people have gotten that confused.
yes the tree i did as normal and then thought "hey let's just stroke all over it cus i'm not going to need to select it agai nand i want it to match the detail of the foreground".
and the backgroudn trees were even quicker. i felt somethign was missing so i scribbled them on. i didn't use any textures with these, i've found a nice technique with a brush with a sort of speckled look, where i use that to make these tree shapes. it only really works with small trees i nthe distance. wouldn't work with bigger trees wich is unfortunate >.<
i did the same thing in "you're mine now"
hmm i might have used too many couds maybe? i was jsut trying to make them look evening like lol.

Eeek, its like I'm being Critiqued on my Critiqued! Hehe just ignore anything you don't agree with, your artwork isn't the easiest to pick apart for inconsistencies, its too darn close to perfect I tell you!Β
I'm just glad you like it ^^, you write one of these and then hours after....Did I do it ok? Was what I said detailed enough? Did I sound like a total numskull?

i don'tlike it, and everyone always assumes my characters are sonic characters even though they have a very different style. my characters are just young anthros in reality. not whatever the hell sonic things are.

ooo I realy like how you did the hypnotism in this pic. the snakes eyes deffinatly look in control where as the victims looks like the seduced. altho I am unsure to the ring effects through the air... perhaps that's just personal preference. XD

i wasn't sure about the rings either. it does look slightly strange but i DO like how it adds a certain sense of helplessness to the situation. almsotΒ like it's giving a physical view to the whole aspect of being unable to escape the hypnotism, that the rings are going straight into her eyes and she can't avoid them X3
