Description
Taken by my great uncle while on a bombing run over germany in WWII.*Cant help about the crop- this is the original with a minor touch up
Theres not much information on his unit, and I have come to find out that I hold some of the last photos of that unit

Gimmie a few days to work on that tail and I'll see if I can get the group, Im fairly certain as you are its the 8th AF but once we find out which bombing group it is, then we can get mission specific. Do you recall any target dates by chance?

It is the 8th AF, all my grandpa can remember it was the were stationed in england, note me and ill give you all the specifics!
