Description
Experimenting.Colored lineart... one step further? (Man, a pic made of just lineart ended up taking way longer than the usual lineart, coloring and shading. But I did enjoy drawing this quite a lot, it was refreshing.)
Possessive TC is my not-so-secret fetish. (In any continuity, but TFA lends itself for it quite nicely.)

Thundercracker/Skywarp has always been one of my favorite pairings. It took awhile for me to get used to this version, but now I love it!!

The limited use of color can work quite well; there's a certain artsyness to it, like with a traditional wood-cut print.
It amuses me that the combination of traits that make Starscream who he is can seem so much more adorable when broken up into individual clones. Considering that there were a lot more clone bodies than all the clones we've seen, I have to wonder whether there are more yet to come online (or whose personalities led them elsewhere)....

It is true though, the clones themselves are quite adorable, maybe because there's no conflicting aspects to their personality (and there's a certain appeal in simplicity, after all). So the coward part happens to come out as the vulnerable/weak side (without bitchiness or arrogance), and before you know it... BAM. Skywarp's a fan favorite.
(I'm sure that'd probably upset Starscream greatly. 8D)
I wonder about that. Whether they ditched that single frame showing an army of (Starscream-colored) clones or it'll come handy in the future. Many prototypes probably got destroyed, like the ones Prowl captured in one episode, but what about the rest?
then again, I doubt Starscream's AllSpark fragment is big enough to give a piece of it to too many seekers.

I'd like to see at least Thrust and Acid Storm; I'm fairly sure Derrick Wyatt mentioned drawing up a Starscream clone with Thrust's color scheme.
A dramatically altered clone might also be an interesting way to introduce a new 'con (or Autobot!).
Screamer's fragment seems to be as big or small as Plot dictates.

Truth: the All Spark fragment follows the same rules as everything else in a TF series, when it comes to SIZE (that is, none)

If nothing else, he can help fill a crowd in a massive battle. Although, it looks like the tendency is against vast numbers of 'cons.
It seems like there's a lot of "WTF?" moments between the comics, cartoon, and toyline. There are at least three or four incidents i can think of where the cartoon's crew were completely unaware of something being done on the toyline or comics until it was too late to include it in that season...

Yes, TF:A does lend itself rather well to possessive TC, doesn't it. You know, I think this is my new second favorite pairing (because once again, I'm attempting not to let these two outshine Starscream, in that my first favorite pairing is Starscream/Skyfire). Poor 'Warp must be awfully close to hyperventilating right now. Because it must be scary for him, being so close to someone else, and the poor 'bot is probably claustrophobic to boot.

TFA ends up being kind of a role reversal when it comes to the attitude of these two (or rather, the way I end up drawing them). And considering Skywarp probably has an irrational fear of everything, (hugs and touching and TC included), this ends up being pretty kinky if you think about it.

Seriously. When they first came up with their new color schemes for the clones I was like "Wait...Skywarp is the coward?!"
And now I have an image of TC poking Skywarp in the shoulder and Skywarp screaming every time TC touches him but stopping immediately when TC isn't touching him...

a) did it randomly
b) just pick something from their original bios, like TC being all about the superiority of fliers and Warp being, er, not so bright and "without supervision worthless as a warrior"?
c) just made him a coward so they could pull a gag out of him warping in fear every 5 minutes? 8D Who knows, it might still happen and it'd be hilarious.
