The mech on the right would be impactical in open terrain warfare unless those legs have large wheels on the bottom. However, for something like enclosed warfare such as in city streets and forests, I believe that one would shine.

Awesome 'mech designs! I love the touch with a "dropship" helicopter transporting one of the 'mechs into battle, thus helping to explain how these walkers cover long distances.

How long do you spend on each sketch? What software do you use?
Have you seen the Gnomon Workshop DVD by Feng Zhu that uses the same approach to prototyping concepts?
I really want to get this technique down. I love how well these communicate without even the slightest detail.

Now I have to say, I recognize some of the other pieces of artwork that you ended up doing, elsewhere.
Namely involving stomping furry-raves and Victors with Long Tom arms.
