Didn't have my laptop with me a couple of weeks back so pulled out all my paints to practice for a commission (and have fun >.>) This is from some sketches I made a while back and have been dying to paint.First time using paints in a long time, mix of acrylics and watercolours (whatever was lying around). It got a bit too watery, but I like it.
Painted on watercolour board (a4 size) that I picked up cheap once (I love collecting art-stuff and dreaming that I might use it one day
)It was a birthday present so I didn't get to scan it, the photo is pretty close, I think...

Those fins/wings are quite niftily translucent, if a tad difficult to distinguish.

Thank you! Yeah, those were my biggest problem with the too-watery paint. Either too opaque or too vague >.<
