Also, touched up the nixie a bit and gave her proper eyes...

Painted in ArtRage.
Time... probably about four hours.
The Nixie closeup
Is part of a larger piece that is still unfinished - cut this part and erased the other bits. The reflection I distorted in paint.Net (resized height) then brought back into ArtRage (And all that took ages ... my computer is inefficient) and then made ripples on it ...with the ever beloved soft palette knife

I kept coming back to this, trying to see what exactly the image had. Each time I looked, I saw more details. The winged cat, for example, is absolu tely lovely. It's adorable and just the right shade of orange. I'd want more distortion on the figures, but I'm betting the distortion was intended and is part of what makes this image so intriguing. =]
