Description
First piece for the redesign of DUNE project. Will link the other ones here when they are released! Been really fun messing around with this composition. Hope you enjoy!I wanted to stress the Harkonnen's power and dominance- their influence spreads like a web over the city, the tendrils from their fortress casting shadows on every structure. I have to admit, I really like, in fact I love, art and almost anything related to this kind of Sci-Fi. Every time I look upon this kind of art (and I have to say, the style works perfect with the theme) I feel as if it has some sort of a highly probable and real future, like as if everything here is scientifically possible.
Anyway, I haven't read the book, but after this I think I may as well. And really awesome drawing.

Btw, if you're looking for more references to be inspired from, there's a series of 3 books released by China Mieville, the first one called New Crobuzon. I have to say, this reminded me a lot of that city.
