Ismael is really forgetful. He's seems disconnected, he's been that way since he lost his leg when he was 20. He might forget something happened or think it was all a dream. He dazes off into space a lot

He's a generally laid back guy, but he can be short tempered. However grudges aren't his thing, and he forgives quickly.

He used to be big into hiking, especially scaling mountains. He still has his gear in his house but he doesn't talk about it anymore.

He's very determined to have his own business and he's tried store after store but they've all gone out of business. He's not giving up just yet.

He's not one to accept help easily. He insists on being independent, not wanting to let his disability hold him back. However he realizes that he can't do everything by himself.

He's prone to panicking when people get hurt and fusses over them.

He used to be a hiker with his best friend, they'd tackle the most dangerous caves and mountains they could together . They gained a large following online that pushed them to go bigger each time.

On their last trip they were caught in an a rockslide that crushed Ismaels friend and pinned his leg. He was stuck for 24 hours until a rescue team came. His leg was too badly damaged to keep. He may faint at the sight of blood, remembering his own off white mixing with the bright turquoise that was his best friends system.

Occasionally Ismael forgets his friend is actually dead and even that he's missing his leg. He might get up suddenly to show to something without realizing that he can't walk without his crutches.
