You use The Sims Body Shop, export a project, open it and change colours in Photoshop, Corel or anything like that. Once you're satisfied, you import them to the game.

Ok, I don't know where Body Shop is, and though I've made lots of downloads, I can't import them either.

It should be included with the Original Sims 2. You need to insert the disc, then quit the game when it has loaded. Right after that, from the Start Menu, go to "Sims 2" (at least that how it is on my comp), and among options such as "The Sims 2" or "Uninstall The Sims 2", you'll find "The Sims 2 Body Shop". As for downloads, put them in the downloads folder and make sure you've got a patch installed.

It's a program that comes with The Sims 2, it's easy. And thanks for stretchskeleton, I know that, but it makes interactions a bit clumsy.

I made them myself in The Sims Body Shop! I just started a new project, opened it, and recoloured the skin with Paint. It's quite easy (Delete Image -> Fill in); you just have to pay attention at the face: don't colour eyes oor teeth!
