Sand and Torio as seen in the 6th chapter of my fanfiction Frozen Heart. And before you tell me Torio looks nothing like this: she's about seventeen here.

You might be surprised to see this pic, as you know I don't ship them (to put it mildly); but then again, this is a quite important piece of Sand's past. Just don't get your hopes up, they will not be a couple in the story, not in present time, at least.

Torio often wondered about the white flowers she had seen Sand grow magically. She knew he didn't need them for potions, and knew him well enough to see behind his lies that they were meant to be offerings to Umberlee. The first time she had seen him arrange them in a pretty bouquet, she couldn't wait to receive them in one of the stolen moments they managed to spend together. But no, the only flowers she ever received were pink, red or purple. Was there somebody else in Sand's heart? Those white flowers must have been for someone special. Someone Torio would not even get near to.
