Love the motion and the colors! There's a lot of intensity to this image. Also, it's a small detail, but I like that his burn scar has a more mottled, shiny look to it than you usually see--it makes it look more like a real injury, which you don't get quite as much with the simplified style in canon.

I always work from a base color - I can't work from white anymore, I was just not taught that way, lol. But I downloaded a crosshatch pattern brush and just went at it, you know?
