Description
Here is Echo's family photo for when she was younger (around 6). I was inspired by Art-Might and SilentSnow777 when they did family photos for both of their ocs.Below is a trivia of Echo's relationship with her parents and a trivia on them by themselves. I hope you enjoy the information and the image!
Quinn Kagawa - Father:
Echo is very close to her father mainly due to him being there when she was very little whilst her mother was still a pro-hero. That is why Echo is called 'Daddy's Girl' by her family. Quinn is quirkless and so provides for the family by being an author, writing mainly adventure novels which are inspired by his wife when she used to be a pro-hero. Echo got picked on a little when she was little due to her Dad being quirkless and not having a good job but Echo still loved her Dad no matter what anyone said.
Even now, when Echo is 15, she still talks to her dad about her problems on the phone or in person, getting advice from him as well as her mother sometimes.
Trivia:
- Quinn is quirkless and works as an author mainly focusing on adventure novels.
- Quinn's Japanese voice actor is Jun Fukuyama (the voice of Yata Misaki from K Project) and his English voice actor is Brandon Porter (the voice of Sven Vollfied from Black Cat).
- Quinn looks at Echo and thinks of a bright future (he wishes the best and uses most of his savings to put into a private account for her when she is older).
- Quinn was suppost to not be able to have children, suprised and slightly doubting when Makina said she was pregnant. Even though he knew his wife wouldn't do that to him, he still had the doubt in his mind. However, when he saw Echo in his arms, he knew that he had been blessed with a daughter (he didn't decide to get a DNA test but he is actually the father of Echo so it's okay).
- Quinn is the middle child of 5 sons, the only one who is quirkless. He used to get picked on by his father and his brothers due to him being quirkless. His mother was the only one that was considering towards him.
- His father has a wind-type quirk which he can release wind from the palms of his hands. All of his brothers inherited the wind-type quirk whilst his mother had a different quirk that wasn't really hero like but still useful (she would turn the ends of her hair into needles and she could stitch cloths and other things with her hair. When her hair broke, it would turn into string used in clothing).
Makina Kagawa - Mother:
Echo and her mother do not have as close of a bond compaired to Echo and her father but they still love eachother. When Makina lost half of her arm due to it being trapped in a building, and then catching an illness after the accident, Echo helped her mother a lot through the process. Echo use to read stories to her mother and tell her all about her day at school. Normally when Echo was younger, she would accidentally fall asleep with her mother when she wasn't suppost to just incase she also caught the illness. When Makina was allowed to walk about as she got better, Echo used to walk her out around the city (only down to the grocery store or something at first but then further the more she got better).
Now that Echo is 15, and her mother has gotten over her illness, her mother tries to help Echo control and strengthen her quirk (as Echo has the same quirk and Makina).
Trivia:
- Makina's quirk is Echolocation which Echo has inherited.
- Makina's Japanese voice actress is Aya Hisakawa and her English voice actress is Kate Higgins (the voice's or Retsu Unohana from Bleach).
- Makina met Quinn when she went for a book signing for one of his novels; "The Beetle and me". Even thought the book wasn't that successful, Makina still liked it. To this day, Makina has the signed copy of the book in her treasures.
- Makina used to be a Pro-Hero, using her quirk as well as martial arts to help keep peace in the city or help other hero's on their missions. However, due to a tragic accident where she lost half of her left arm, she decided to retire. She did this because she wanted to make sure she could see her daughter grow up as well as for her health.
- Makina was the only child of her family, inheriting her quirk from her father (he had the features of a bat and could do all that a bat could do whilst Makina only inherited the Echolocation part of the quirk which was then passed onto Echo). Makina's mother had a quirk where she could type very quickly (insanely fast) which Makina has sort of inherited from her mother as Makina works in a communications company but it is not as quick as it is not as developed as her other quirk.
I hope you like the image! I've been trying to improve on my anime styled colouring and it doesn't look all that good but I still hope you like it!

I feel sorry for her father tho, being picked on by his own family surely was pretty rough and also wow! You even spiced this beautiful family with possibly infertility? Gosh dang it! I love it! O w O So original but so realistic, I seriously loved this little detail a lot! and I hope it doesn't sound weird that I like that .___. Also your Quirk ideas for both grandmoms of Echo are just super unique and original and I love them! They may not be so impressive but sweet cotton candy, I liked that a lot! 1. If Echo's mother lost half of her left hand (just like Sasuke Uchiha in Boruto: NNG), so did my incoming first BnHA OC, but she lost the entire of hers (just like Fuegoleon Vermillion in Black Clover).

Sorry but this is totally out of the blue to me and I actually have no idea if you're attacking me or being sarcastic.
I hope I haven't offended you in anyway with my work or my comment now but I am going to reply to your points:
1. Yes Echo's mother has lost half of her left arm due to an accident whilst she was a pro-hero. I don't mind if you also do the idea for your oc (as you have pointed out quite a few characters in anime have half of their arm or hand missing) but just as long as it isn't direct copying from my oc.
2. I am glad you like my oc Echo! It makes me happy that people like my ocs! However, I'm sorry but I haven't given you permission to make an OC who is cousins to mine so I'd kindly like you not to.

Yes I wanted to try and make the family a bit different and so I made her father quirkless. I really like the idea and it kind of brings Echo's and Quinn's relationship together more.
Quinn and Makina met when Makina went to get a book signed which was written by Quinn. Quinn signed the book and it was 'love at first sight' :3
