Cool concept - I especially like that mask of his! I think that pose needs to be rethought a little - he's tilted quite far and the figure's left leg seems to be a little elongated. Also, the musculature of the leg leading forward seems a little, ah, mushy to me? Also there's no real indication as to how that axe is standing up in the background. As for the skin tone, there's a really neat video posted on Sinixdesign's channel on youtube that deals with ethnic skin tones, if you're looking for a way to start. I think he uses corel though so it might not be 100% applicable to photoshop.

Thank you for the thoughtful critique. I agree with your points. Will have to be more careful next time. Still, I've had a lot of fun doing it.
And yeah, I like to watch Sinix's videos. His workflow is dramatically different to mine so it's always refreshing. I can actually work in both, but PS is more reliable so I use it much more often.
