Description
This map was created by Margrave Sanus III Thunderfalcon of Henry's Gate during a pilgrimage to Victorsburg in the 502nd year following the institution of the Eternal Law. The map isn't very innovative in any way, strictly complying with Makrian cartographic traditions, such as placing the holy city of Victorsburg at the centre of the map and dividing the continent into 5 quintants, one for each of the greater powers of the Makrian continent (Hendal, Dalmira, the Holy Superiacy, heretical Ardans and Sanus's homeland, Meddeland). The depiction of recent important events in the topmost corners of the map, sort of like a BREAKING NEWS-bar of modern news channels, is also a typical component of Makrian mappae mundi.
