Step 1
draw a circle. Next draw a vertical guideline across the curvature of the circle then draw a horizontal across the face
they are cross hairs they show the direction of the face

draw a small line from the cross hairs. then draw the cats triangular nose at the end of the small line . draw a guide line from the bottom of the nose and draw in the chin. draw the brow line by drawing a curve on each side of the nose

Step 3
draw the eyes along the horizontal guide line make sure they are centered under the brow lines. pull down a pair of U shaped lines to create the mouth. then draw the cats larger triangular ears from the upper middle portion of the head. it help to draw a guide line to align the ears.

erase the guide lines and start drawing facial details.
darken the lines around the eyes and mouth to help define those important areas. next draw in the fur patterns
