I don't watch SHADOW in webtoon, but the concept of cleaning the mess after superheroes and villains battles is so unique and interesting!

and this is my first time creating an OC with Korean ethnicity, so I'm sorry if there's something about him that is out of place orz

anyway, I love how he turned out especially the color combinations between pink, blue, and yellow. (his wristbands and socks and shoes <3)

Suh-Jin is a laid-back person. He is not into serious atmosphere, and he is the one who will do ice breaking when things go awkward. He is a playful person with a fondness to tease people, and a good example as a loyal friend. Furthermore, he cares and loves to help others with the best of his abilities.

After Suh-Jin lost his parents, he starts to grow his hardworking trait for living. Despite the unpleasant job, work is work. He seems to take things lightly, but in truth Suh-Jin takes his duties seriously. Sometimes he is also perceptive and sharp, trying to consider everything in different perspectives.

However, Suh-Jin’s feelings often get the best of him, and he does something impulsive without thinking. His courage is borderline recklessness and stupidity. In addition, although he does not intend to hit on someone, he likes to flirt anyone in any gender as their reactions mostly will be amusing and entertaining to him.

Suh-Jin is pretty stingy, especially in food and money. His love for food is great, and now that he works for two people’s life expenses, he values money highly. Hard-headed accompanies this trait as well. Furthermore, when Suh-Jin feels that he does something right, he can also be stubborn with his decisions.

    -      organic object: decompose the object (for animal + plant can be used as a soil fertilizer)

    -      non-organic object: cause the object fall into disrepair, especially debris of a building

weakness:

    -      cannot use his power against a living creature, but only objects & corpses. Speeding up a living creature's age would mean that the power is time, which is overpowered

    -      power area-on-effect limited, can only decay an object within 2 meters or less

    -      size of the object determines time taken to decay. the bigger the size, the more time it needs

History:

Kim Suh-Jin lived with his parents and an older sister. The younger sibling was just an ordinary boy but his interest in skateboarding. He was considered as brave, and also had tendency to climb up things or jumped over small fences—which is to be his root in parkour.

As a child, Suh-Jin admired superheroes. He knew how awesome they were from TV, and he would love to watch them in real life. His wish was granted later—a few days after he was graduated from high school. A fight took place at Korea, near his home. Suh-Jin recklessly went near where the battle took place at. However, the superhero and the villain battled mercilessly that endangered the city property and people around them.

Suh-Jin parents were one of victims caused by the battle. They died protecting their son, while Suh-Jin himself suffered an injury on his thigh. He was rushed to the hospital and his memory for being involved in the battle was completely erased.

Suh-Jin and his sister had a hard time on living. He didn’t want his sister, who took medical major in her college, to work part-time and exhausted herself. Suh-Jin volunteered instead. He was so stubborn that he got a great verbal fight with her and ran away from home. With not-so-great education experience and parkour and skateboarding skills, Suh-Jin cannot really work anywhere but volunteered himself to be genetically modified at a certain organization.

After became a worker for SHADOW, Suh-Jin was told about the truth behind his parents’ death and the injury he had on his thigh. Still, he didn’t remember anything, but with his perceptive way of thinking, it made sense. Suh-Jin partially blamed himself, but he also pinned the blame towards the superhero and villain who cause a great loss of other people with their selfish fight. His vision about superheroes degraded significantly. Despite the unpleasant job to clean the mess made by superheroes and villains, he bear all his resentment to himself for his and his sister’s living.

tl;dr Summary:

Suh-Jin liked superheroes. Went to watch one fighting a villain in a violent battle. As a result, parents died, and Suh-Jin’s memory erased. He became a superhuman and worked for SHADOW to cover living expenses. Finally he was told the truth of his parents’ death and he resented superheroes since then.
