This was my hardest piece to date, but I do love it. Everyone loves the story of Old Bear, and so I drew this picture and painted it from the covr of the loved-children's book. It was done with graphite, charchol, watercolor pencils and pen.Related content

Thank you. The story is about about an Old Bear that every one as seem to forgotten, include some of the toys that are continued to be played with. But one of the toys sets out to save Old Bear through whatever means possible. Very cute, very fun story.

This is fantastic! Great to see something so original too. I would never have thought to draw from my old books. Ah, but now all the memories are flooding back it might be time to fetch them all from the loft! Great job

Do it! Children's books is one of the reasons I like being an artist. Its fun, and you still learn a lot about the lines, shading, and coloring of the pictures, and how the original artist used certain techniques to make such wonderful pictures.
