Description These are my favourite shoes and have been since I was 10.

I've always had a pair of Chuck Taylors in my closet ever since my 10th birthday.

They represent all that is good in my life.
Though tattered and warn they still bring a smile to my face every time I slip them on. Remembering the days when life was simple and joy was around every corner and on every playground, the smell of freshly baked cookies and fresh cut grass, the hugs from Grandma and the tussle of my hair by Grandpa. The joys of a simpler time.

Here they run $25-30 for high tops. The price went up a bit when Nike bought them out.

I haven't had one of those in years, but Chuck's are wonderful trainers - actually they are far more than that...I think they are an american (if not worlwide) classic and icon of the 20th century!
Great job on the photo - the mangled pair looks wonderful the way you arranged them...

yes yes! this is so great and i'm not saying that because i'm a fellow chuck fan, but the composition is pleasing to the eye, the image is sharp and i like that you can see the worn spots (the heel and that spot near the front of the shoe. cheers!
