Description I was challenged by my love to create a sensual portrait of a calla lilly.
My goal to capture the sublte curves of each flower to be able to sense the delicate texture and scents.

Exposure: f/11 at 1/60th sec
Film: Fuji Sensia 100 rated at 80.

Lit by a single Powerlight 1250 at 1/4 power with a diffusion screen 1/2 way between the light and the bouquet. Fill supplied by white reflector.

That's simply beautiful... it's really amazing. It looks like a vivid painting, but somehow you see the photo-qualities of it. I think you captured exactly what you intended.

this is beautiful. I wish it was all dark black at top, though, instead of the lighter color, for a little more contrast. but it's still very beautiful. I've fallen in love with your flower photos. they're gorgeous.

that's absolutely beautiful! it really is very sensual. the way you captured the curves and silkiness of the petals is stunning! the lighting really sets the mood. and i really like the depth of field too because it makes the stems almost look like they're a painting...very soft-like. incredible work!!
