An improved version of the Ukrainian-made BTR-3 armored personnel carrier designed and manufactured in Ukraine in 2000-2002.
It is based on the armored personnel carrier BTR-80. Is intended to transport mechanized infantry troops on the battlefield and to provide fire support in combat actions.
Currently used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine.
