Description
Whoo! Another large project done!
This is the sequel to fox-the-wandering.deviantart.c… .
Only this time, I'm featuring the guys and it's a piece that takes place underneath the warm summer stars, outside of one of my favorite diners of all time, Mel's Diner. This is my first time drawing a diner, so it won't look perfect, but honestly, I loved how it turned out.
Whom we've got hanging around the parking lot of the diner? Ty Parsec from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Blitz of Road Rovers, Antoine D'Coolette of Sonic the Hedgehog fame (Archie Comics), and finally, Edgar Frog of The Lost Boys. Why? Because I think they'd make a great group of greasers.
They're also hanging out with a couple of familiar faces of the car world-the blue 1951 Hudson Hornet on the far left (a cameo of Doc Hudson from the Cars world), the yellow 1932 Ford Deuce Coupé from the film American Graffiti, and last but CERTAINLY not least, the red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury of Christine fame. I have a feeling she's going to come after me since I didn't introduce her first.
Annnnyway. This post is also a gift to a couple of good folks out there- , , and . I owe them so much. I can't really find the right words to thank them for all they've done for me, so this is but a humble gift to show them my appreciation. Thank you for all you guys have done. <3
Enjoy and have happy days!
Disclaimer: I could write a long list of all the characters living in their current countries, but that'd take forever and I just about listed where they came from anyway. XD

THEY NEED A THEME SONG.
Haha I can see it getting him into trouble a lot, but that's just part of Edgar frog's charm I suppose. XD
I AM READY FOR YOU, MY WORTHY ADVERSARY.

I swear, I'm going to turn into a tomato one of these days if I keep blushing! XD
But you're so welcome, Lilikoi. I'm really happy that you love this piece. ^^
Yes, Blitz's pose is so fantastic and perfect for him. He was a ton of fun to work on-all of them were! Sticking them all in greaser outfits was another fave part of mine here-now they can imitate Fonzy haha.
Oh yes, the cars were also, I admit, a pain to work on at times since they've got so many parts to them-things like brand icons, tire rims, tail fins, etc. But I'm glad they turned out the way they did-it made all that pain worth it!
I think the Ford Deuce Coupé turned out the best out of all of them, but the other cars came out great too! Oh drat...Christine's gonna come after me agaaaaaain.
Yeaaaaaah Edgar better get out of Christine's way. He don't know who he's messing with. <<...>>...
Once again, you're so welcome, my friend. Enjoy it well!
And thank you for all you've done for me. I really am grateful to you, man. ^^

Aw shucks, thank you sweetheart! I really appreciate this! I say without hyperbole that you're standup person, writer, and artist (a triple threat)!
You know, I'm beginning to notice a common thread between you and the '50s... And I approve! I like the music, Hollywood stars, and fashion from that time! Anyways, what an amazing crossover this is! I loled at Blitz's pose. That's about right. I think these four guys would have some hilarious and interesting interactions together. I'm impressed that even the cars are from different sources! The boys should avoid Christine though, lol. I like the background, especially the lighting effects emanating from the diner.
Oh, the link you wanted to post to the other pic didn't show up for some reason.

Aww... And that's enough to make me blush about three times!...make it a fourth. XD
But in all seriousness, you're so welcome, Nic. I'm really happy you dig this piece. ^^
Yes, indeed, the '50s were a great time for the music, Hollywood stars and fashion and a few other tidbits! I mean, it's not perfect, since nothing truly is, but I really dig the '50s for the good things that came out of it and I hope to bring some of those good things back with my illustrations and writings and such.
Hahahahahah I knew that Blitz's pose would be fantastic for him with the way he holds himself. He'd so show off his muscles no matter what costume he's wearing. XD
Ohohohohohoho yes; these four guys would definitely have interesting and/or hilarious conversations and interactions. I can imagine them getting into all sorts of situations with at least one or two of them being the straight men to the other guys. This might have to go up on that Tumblr blog I mentioned about the characters living under one roof haha.
Yeaaaaah Christine is one car they'd better steer clear of because she don't like anybody messing with her. <<...>>...
But yes, the cars did indeed come from different sources; I thought it'd be equally fun to include in cars from the '50s (with the Ford car being the exception), to add onto the ambience of Mel's Diner. Oh, man, the lights were a pain to take on because it's like you need to get the lighting right with the lights and how it touches everything. But I'm glad it paid off so thank you!
And thankies for pointing out the problem to the link! It should be fixed now.
Once again, I'm happy you love this piece. Enjoy it well and rock on with your awesome self, my friend! And thank you for all you've done for me. I'll be forever grateful to you. ^^

Oh yes, the 20s were pretty spectacular in their own way, I agree, but I don't think I wanna live back then either. There were quite some messy things there ><;
YESH. That is our Blitzy at his...perfection.
Yeaaaaah true, Ty would have to act as the Team Dad a lot of the time and keeping a majority of the gang in check. And when he's acting out of line, somebody else will have to pull him out of the fire lol. I can't wait to get that Tumblr blog up and put all sorts of kooky stuff up.
Heh heh, well, I did the best I could with lighting. I hope to improve as time goes by.
Anytime, buddy!
