*stress reliever art* =u= full view please <3My dragon, Lofty, enjoying a drink. I haven't drawn him in ages <3 I like drawing him in dark scenes, light reflection is always fun to mess with. 8'D so I dub Lofty a Lunar Dragon (never gave him a species before)
pfft... what? drawing dragons after seeing HTTYD? there's no connection at all. *goes back to AatR*
about 1 hour to draw/ink, about 2 hours to color, done in Open Canvas

thanks! and nope, Lofty doesn't exactly have two tails, but it splits into three ends, similar to the wings (folds up like bird feathers though)

The moon actually makes me squint to look at it because it seems like a really bright sun. And I squint at the sun naturally. |D

A Lunar Dragon, was he by chance influenced by a book called "Dragon Rider" by Cornelia Funke? the dragons in it are active in moonlight and don't have to eat as long if they bath in moonlight or else they'll turn into stone.
They can travel in day if they taste the dew drop from a special flower that blooms in moonlight.
