Looks like βStar Fox 2β finally came on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Classic Edition last September this year.

I would use this as a skin basse for a minecraft skin for Miyu and as for Day, well see.

I would have loved to see Miyu and Fay in an official SF game.

The funny thing is I didn't hear about Starfox 2 until somewhere in the mid 2000s. It's ashame that game never saw the light of day. And the crazy thing I learned is that it was originally going to be the game where Wolf and the gang would make their debut appearance. Well, it's a good thing Nintendo didn't discard them from the series like they did with Fay, Miyu, and Fara. Cuz Wolf and his team have since become essential to the Starfox universe with the release of Starfox 64. They're too important and too special to be thrown away. Don't you agree?

Yeah, I agree. While I like Bill and Katt, it would have been nice to see Miyu and Fay as well.

Same here. But from what I understand, Bill and Katt are somewhat obscure even though they're official characters. I'm sure there's more to them if they were given bigger roles. But I guess Nintendo only gives so much attention to a certain number of their characters.

You're right on that. At least they were made playable in SF Command, so that brings hopes for future games, in my opinion.

Ah yes, the famous unreleased Star Fox 2. It's a shame really because the new members look very interesting.
I sure hope that the Big N will make another game that will feature Miyu and Fay.
Awesome work once again, Luis.
PS: If the game released, would you think that Fay would've had a crush on Fox?

Many of the ideas they had for this game were used in Star Fox Command later.
As for Fay having a crush on Fox... we'll never know, they didn't explore too much the characters' personalities back then.

I see.
Well according to various SF websites, it was said that Fay's personality was that she's especially cheery and the "go-getter" type. So I guess she would've had a bit of a crush on Fox.

At least, they rescued some of its features for Star Fox Command.

Sounds interesting. This might be a sign of the creators' interest in the original continuity over Krystal's. Rumor has it that they were trying to write off Krystal after Adventures, but they couldn't because it would upset the fanbase over here in North America.
That aside, I'd love to see Miyu and Fay shine along with the males members of Star Fox team in the revival of the SNES continuity, and see where this team might end up in compared to Krystal's Star Fox team.

What if Star Fox 2 for the SNES was released in 1995 and Star Fox 64 released for the N64 in 1999, do you think so?
