it all started when i accidentally drew a guy, but i was too lazy to actually finish the legs so i just scribled something and it looked like smoke-- and then i got this fab very original idea!!

idek don't hurt me for making a closed species, i'm just greedy and wanna have one thing to myself also they're also cute af q o q )//

anyways. they a called kemurine. one individual is called a kemuri ♥
because i'm so smart and wanted a really cool name, i just went to google translate typed in smoke and searched for a pretty word :v in the end i chose japanese + lithuanian

so kemuri = smoke in japanese
ne = no in lithuanian.
IDEK OK. so it's like. they're not smoke-- what. nevermind

the whole story thing:

kemurine were created by the godess of creation ages ago. their purpose was to save people from shipwrecks and help them when storms go on for day in the sea with their special gems that bring light ( the gems are located where their bellybutton should be ). unfortunately, people began to hunt down the kemuri, because of their power and tail dust, which has the ability to heal severe wounds. then, the godess of creation gave them another purpose - to look after oceans, lakes, rivers.. now they try live calmly, where they can't be seen by people.

traits and facts ( also for those who can't read my fake handwriting :v ):

skin--
kemurine can have any skin color or markings.
ears--
kemurine can have different types of ears. one special trait is that every kemuri has scales inside their ears.
rarity:
common-- small ears; uncommomn-- sea foam coming out of ears; rare-- various 'whiskers' around ears; very rare-- big ears with a ball of fluff coming out.
tail--
kemurine have a smoke tail sustained by the gem.
rarity:
common-- 2 fins; uncommon-- more than 2 fins; rare-- 1 fin; very rare-- one very big fin with an object in it.
accessories:
kemurine can have a lot of accessories. small sea animals love to gather around them.
rarity:
common-- various shells, jewelery and pearls; uncommon-- seaweed and starfish; rare-- corals

what is the gem??
the gem contains a 'life' of a kemuri. why do i say 'life'?? because 'dead' kemurine also exist!! when a gem is taken or broken, a kemuri will lose it's tail and the dust that will be left behind will transform into legs. Kemurine need water to survive, but if they don't have their tail, they will drown. the only way of saving a kemuri that has become like that is for a human to take care of them by putting them into a fishbowl and such. kemuri are very small so they fit there c:

what is the purpose of a kemuri??
they take care of animals and clean oceans, lakes, rivers. they originally live in the ocean, but if a human safely transfers them to a lake or a river, the kemuri will take care of it.

the gender ratio??
why is that there are more males than females?? because females were hunted more often and were a bigger catch thatn the males because of their shiny silk hair.

kemuri are social beings and get lonely easily. they can become friends with pretty much anything, because they are very kind and sweet hearted ( i mean who else would clean your trash that got to the ocean?? ) ♥

can i make my own kemuri??
sorry, no. it's a closed species, so you can only adopt them, buy a myo slot or a custom or enter a myo contest when it's open q v q )//
