Description Aaaaand, here is the main character of my possibly upcoming story. His name is Solus (last name pending) and he is the Champion of light. His eyes may look a little strange but that is because he is blind. (omg ironic! =O)

Some background on Solus:
He is the Prince of Lusken (map and a bit of history here [link] ). When he was born, he was the picture perfect Lusken baby. Platinum blonde hair with bright blue eyes and a strong, healthy body. But when he was four, the Goddess of Darkness struck him blind to punish his father for attempting to kill her Champion and for being a dick in general.

Crushed that his perfect son was now an invalid, the King (name pending) shut himself off from his son. He treated him like any other lesser child, gave him no love or responisbilities of the kingdom, and would not associate himself with him. Solus was raised by the castle servants and his mother (name also pending) who, though crushed by is condition, still loved her son very much.

As Solus grew up, being unable to see, knew nothing of discrimination. He was a kind-hearted man to those who are kind back. He never tolerated those who were cruel and greedy, namely, his father.

Since he does not understand discrimination, he never understood why he couldn't learn swordplay and be a knight like all of the other young men. So he picked up a sword and began to teach himself how to fight. To make up for his lack of sight, his other senses are amplified to compensate. He can tell where an enemy is by vibrations, either through ground or through the air (sound or touch).

Soon he was accepted as a full knight and was granted a squire to train to knighthood. His squire's name is Fergus (last name pending).

Anyway, I've got others coming but I still have a lot of designing to do, so it will take some time.

Same. All my color pieces are inked linework by me, scanned in and sent to me mates thevampiredio and dinodog for coloring. One day when I've the time and patience, I hope to learn to color digitally, though I'd much rather draw on paper. Digital drawing feels weeeeeird...

Paper just feels better. It feels more natural. When I try and draw on a tablet my hand slips all over the place and I can't get any of the lines right. There isn't enough friction between the pen nub and the surface. But I can color fine with it. Digital coloring is more fun to me, and more forgiving than traditional colors. You can do more with it too.
