A last-minute addition to my con pics, because I thought I needed some clean shounen-ai in the mix XP Nothing much to say about it... I really like how it turned out ^^ Link's expression is kind of pleasantly unreadable... it could be a sad moment or a happy one.READ THIS, GODDAMMIT: Don't bitch at me about Sheik's gender. I don't give two turds if you think he's female; I think the evidence indicates otherwise, and I have the courtesy not to come to your damn page and shout my opinion at you like you have to agree with me. Since there is no absolute confirmation, keep your complaining to yourself or leave my page.

I'd prefer Sheik to be a drawn as girl, but yaoi is fun too.
In the game Ocarina of Time, Shiek does reveal herself to actually be Zelda. I highly doubt that Nintendo would have Zelda magically grow a penis when she turns into Sheik. The game is rated E, so a sex change may be a bit inappropriate. Zelda was just disguised as a boy.
foxlee drew sheik as a boy, therefore foxlee's sheik is a boy. It doesn't change sheik's gender in the game. People can do whatever they want with fanart, but fanart isn't always relevant to the game.
I don't care, Sheik may be a boy in this picture, but he still looks pretty.

I think you're putting a bit too much "adult" into changing genders. It's not a sexual thing - if you put forward the idea of a gender-swapping character to a child, they don't think it's freaky porn or anything. They just accept it; it's an entirely innocent thing until you put a fetish behind it.

Nu-uh. Shiek is Zelda alter ego. It still the same person she just uses magic to change her cloths, eyes, and skin color. It's still Zelda just with a new look.
And in SSBM Shiek is refered to as a she.

"Alter-ego" does not confirm that she did not change her gender. It just means a different identity. Exactly how much she changed is ambiguous.
Since she used magic to do it, she would have no reason to change everything about herself other than her gender, since that would make her disguise quite weak. You can believe that she did not change her gender if you like, but you certainly can't demonstrate that she didn't. Ergo, since common sense suggests that she did - and since Sheik's body is clearly illustrated as male - your opinion carries no more weight than the opposing viewpoint, to say the least.
SSBM is not part of TLoZ canon, and in addition, Sheik's design was altered in SSBM.
I say again: you can believe what you want to believe. Why are you bothering to argue it here, when you can prove nothing? Just be content with your opinion and don't try to force it on others.

You forgot to mention that when they refer to Sheik as a she that their really referring to the fact that Sheik is Zelda. More simply put, their talking about his core/original gender. Also, I think you should make a pic making fun of the fact that Sheik the male form of Zelda.

I've been meaning to do a parody pic where I'd take that one official drawing of Sheik from Ocarina, trace around his body shape, and then use those proportions to draw "Zelda". It would be hilarious XD

That would be great. If you open to suggestion, maybe you could do one have Link in female form hitting on/seducing Zelda as either herself or in Sheik form and having an arrange of emotions about it.

I don't see it that way with Link being the leader and possibly being a god to boot.

I don't think Link is a leader at all - he never takes charge of anything, but rather always gets his instructions from other characters (Navi, the Deku Tree, Midna, Zelda, The Mask Man... etc.). And there's nothing to suggest that he's a god, at least not in the games I've played (OoT/MM/TP).
