Page 10-Link | Page 12-LinkBack to my style of finishing. I just finished this page moments ago, and there's still one more ready to be finished! I'll be doing that one next and then back to inking. For the rest of the pages, I think I'm going to post them one by one, meaning I'll work on one page at a time all the way through. That way, I'll be able to post as many pages as I can today, if I don't manage to get done with all of them.

Really not a lot more to say here. This page is on the upper side of the frame max-min scale with a whopping 9 frames on the page. These kinds of pages are always a bit hard to draw, and yet inking goes really fast for some reason.
Sakura's dropping a bit of a hint as to Hinata's feelings for Naruto obviously, and of course Naruto is just too clueless. Naruto's not an idiot when it comes to some things, but he knows nothing about women and love and such. -sigh- Anyway, Sakura sees that he still hasn't realized Hinata likes him and so she changes the subject before she's the one who tells him. Of all the kunoichi, Sakura has the most experience with relationships methinks, so she knows that it wouldn't be right for her to tell the dunce. That's Hinata's job. But can she do it?? That's the question of the day.
I had some trouble tweaking the dialogue enough for Sakura to hint on Hinata's feelings enough in frame 2 to register Naruto's look in frame 3. It had to be subtle enough for him not to know what she's talking about, but smart enough to sound like Sakura, but impactful enough for him to notice the hint. Harder than you think, that is.

Sigh..Naruto still oblivious as ever, I like Sakuras posture in the secound panal, how she raises her arms in a determined/happy expression.

wow. it's sounds like you put alot of thought into this. everything is so wonderfully conveyed and so far this story and the author comments given can be nothing less than pure genius.
honestly, i think this is going to be a fantastic story. i can already see myself reading the last page ending it all perfectly and wishing it was never over
on another note, i like the way you made sakura hint at hinata's feelings and show naruto's denseness. quite and impressive way to show it if i do say so myself.

I just, really try hard to give you guys the best story possible, partially to help separate me from the other artist's out there because I know there's so many, and partially because I just like making you smile, laugh, cry, and cheer! I try to make stories what they should be, and not just some small things that I just threw together. After all, what are artists if not storytellers? Especially comic artists!
And there IS a lot of symbolism in the way I view the personal relationships between the cast and the couples that I support in this page, in the past pages, and in the pages to come. I am a supporter of NaruHina, but only just by a bit. NaruSaku to me seems like just as viable of an option as a couple, but there are a couple things holding me back from making that my first favorite. One, is that I believe that because of the way Kishi has made his story, Sakura and Sasuke are meant to be together. I don't know if it's just because I'm a fellow comic artist, but I can see patterns in the story of Naruto that suggest the result of the SasuSaku pairing. Secondly, if the NaruSaku pairing were to happen, it would completely mess up the rest of the pairings with the rest of the cast.
Hinata has not shown interest romantically in anyone besides Naruto. If Naruto were to end up with Sakura, then she would be left with no one. You can say you support KibaHina or NejiHina or whatever you want, but there's no real evidence to support those pairings in the story. Also, if Sakura were with Naruto, then who would be with Sasuke? Sure, Ino's taken interest in Sasuke as well, but not nearly to the extent of Sakura. The only person I can see with Sasuke is Sakura, end of story. She's the only one that's been able to get past his shell, save Naruto. And of course, Kishi is NOT going to do any Yaoi stuff, because it's an action Shounen manga. NOT Shounen-ai. No matter how much you want to believe that.
Sorry to spill out like that. But when I get on rolls, it's hard to stop.

yes i have many ideas for stories but i never actually do them cause they're stories with no point. hopefully as i improve more and more i will be able to come up with a great story.
i'd at least like to try to make one with meaning. i do have this one idea but there's still a few gaps i need to fill. plus i want to plan it all out and see if it unfolds nicely. which might mean it might be years until i actually show it to anyone.
hmm yes i have also thought alot about the whole naruto pairings.
you make some very good points, and i do so hope hinata and naruto get together. i'm not so good at being able to analyze a story and see where it might lead.
usually i just end up liking one pairing and even if i know it's not going to happen i still support it.

I gotcha. Just keeping working at that story and thinking about it and it'll come together. Also try getting a notebook and just writing down anything that comes to mind that has to do with the story. This is a good way of getting things straight. Believe me, I've tried it.
And it's okay to babble a little. Me, I babble all the time. XD

i was actually drawing a picture on a notebook when the story came to me. i first wrote a small portion and then little by little i expanded it. before i knew it i had written down almost everything. the middle's still has a few wholes but the endings already done. i even thought of a small sequel to it.
i only wish i had used original characters. but i can't think of anyone better to play the part than those two.
i really think it's a good story but i just can't seem to draw it all out the way it's planned in my head.
that's why i'm taking it slowly and not rushing it.
i want to make it as good as i possibly can ^w^
