Mission Details:
After learning of the gift exchange, Ace decides to take the sweet, yet extremely dangerous, task of turning in Eve's old ribbon for a brand new accessory for her! The pretentious Eevee has a hard time dealing with feelings of gratitude, and an even harder time finding a way to pay him back for his generosity. Will a sweeter side of the perfectionist pokemon be revealed, or will Ace be left with an empty wing and no thank you?

And the second and final page is finally done~ This took a bit longer than expected, though the coloring itself went rather fast this time. I went for more of an Anime style on this one simply because I'm lazy and I have no time XDD

I'm also trying out a new thing with my art. That is, I'm experimenting with placing an overlay-mode copy of the entire pic on top of itself, with a slight gaussian blur. I think it makes the overall picture more intense and softer. What do you think?

Well! Looks like Ace got his gift after all~ This page perfectly illustrates the two sides of Eve XDD One side, she's incredibly cruel and manipulating (poor oblivious Kevin XD) and on the other, she's actually rather thoughtful and sweet. When she wants to be.

"Sesame Seed Bonbons" are something that I made up lol I don't know if it's an actual treat for like pets or something, but when I tried to think of a treat that Ace would like a lot, somehow those popped in my head. They're basically little balls of sesame seeds with various sugars and chocolates mixed in or whatever. I'm sure they have some kind of truffle or something in the middle.

Eve, growing up a spoiled child, obviously has no real cooking experience of her own XD So naturally she burned the bonbons. But it's ok. They're still edible, at least, and Ace loves those things enough to eat them anyway. He doesn't mind them being a little extra crispy at all. Thank goodness. Just imagine if Eve had found them in the garbage the next day??

I had a lot of fun coloring this page. And at last, I can say that at least one of my Event 4 comics is done~!

Hopefully I'll be able to get another of the 3 I plan on finishing by the deadline done by tomorrow. If I can, I'll have the rest of the time for the last one~ Of course, it doesn't help that I'm moving out in the next week or so too DX
