MLPFIM never happened. Luna didn't become Nightmare Moon. She said "Hey, it would be nice to be the main ruler!" She stole Tia's stuff, grabbed a random unicorn off the street and made her an alicorn. Twilight became an alicorn through the magic of friendship? Ha! This is canon now.
