This is not watercolors this time, but I hope you will like it though ! I'm in a black & white mood
Usually I'm very inspired by the seasons, particulary autumn. It's October and I feel like it's still "summer" in spain, this is very strange to me.

haha ! yep, the only trees I'v seen in Iceland was few tiny minintrees
but I love drawing plot of moss, i always thought it was like miniature forest, so i put them everytwhere!

Maybe inspired by a mix between some places I ve been, and some places I would like to be.
I never have the opportunity to camp, except once in the garden of my parents in summer ( but there are rainy summers in the north of France) and once in a creepy rock festival where drunk people puked an pissed on my tent ... ^^*
my dream would be to wake up at the early morning in the middle of nature, but I think this is not really allowed here.

ohhh cool I inspire to apply some of the impressions from like say iceland into art but I find it hard to start on things like landscapes and alike
damn that sounds so nasty and I would be like super anxious during a festival for that sorta thing to happen.
and I know alot of people going to france to camp but I never been there which might be strange since the netherlands is so close I could probably take a train to paris.
ohhh yeah that sounds cool I sorta did that but I was in a group of 20 so not that peaceful. wouldn't be allowed in the netherlands and we don't have the nature for it but I do know in scandinavia they have a law thing called "right to roam" which means people are allowed to camp in woods/rural area even if its owned as long as they make sure they do not leave a trace.

My landscapes are very basic, I just add few elements, details, textures and a bit of depth to render a "feeling" of background.
Good to know, maybe I will take some vacations in Scandinavia ! But this is still a bit cold in summer... For now I can sleep on my terrace in Spain, and watch the sky during the hot days of summer
you can take a bus by night and wake up somewhere in France, it's cheaper than train. I remember some great places in Ardeche or Jura: mountains, waterfalls, big forests.... There are camping places but you have to like the other people around you.

haha yeah scandinavia would be a whole lot colder if you compare it to spain xD dunno tho never been in spain but I'd love to go.
and that sounds great problem is I have a learning disability (affects vocals) and never learned french so I would need to go with folk who could. I think it would be a really cool experiance tho maybe the not speaking french would add to it even haha

Even if anybody could speak french in your group , lot of french people speak english, particulary in the touristic areas. And everybody speak the" money language": You want to buy something, they want to sell you something !
I managed to rent an appartment in spain without speaking a word of spanish, the guy didn't speak a word of english... It was very funny

We manage to communicate with signs , scribbles , and a translator app from the smartphone of the guy. It helped to learn few words.
Then I subscribed to a school to Learn Spanish, and it's easier now.
But I still have few problem like that sometimes. When I have to go to the vet for an issue with my pet rats, he uses lot of very specific vocabulary. Fortunately he is very patient to explain me what I don't understand.

but I rather take friends with me who can already speak those tho I would feel super awkward
