The Parliament Buildings, Ottawa, Canada
These beautiful, fairy castle-like buildings, constructed between 1859 and 1927, serve as the home of the Government of Canada.
The Parliament Buildings are considered to be an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture.

I did visit when I was a kid but my memory fails me - can't even remember whether we went or not! Well, again someday!
The buildings in Victoria are quite amazing as well. I like buildings a lot (as you may notice in my art and faves!) and it's kinda bad that too many people don't consider them art!

I've seen photos which my father took in Victoria. What a beautiful city! You live in Vancouver, is that right? You are making buildings! They are very attractive. Thanks on the buildings! I really have a thing about squares - was the same with UF and Apo! Of course I love lots of other shapes too and am working on some more 'swirly' fractals to come out soon - well maybe a few more square ones first!

Squares are good! And they're not all that easy to make in Apophysis! (I'm not familiar with UF yet.) We have free art materials all around us - squares, triangles, reds, browns, flowers, and birds. I feel very fortunate.

There are quite a number of formulas that produce squares in Apo, notable the Sierpinskys and gnarls.
Was just starting to find more of them when I veered away from Apo - I find it hard to work right and went more to UF.
Mandelbulb3D is tops for squary things! I'm loving it and it's not even that hard compared to Apo - also free. Maybe you should take a look! LOL!

I'm eager to try Mandelbulb3D! I think I'll see if I can learn more abut Apophysis first, though. You know more about it than I do, for sure.

Aw, go ahead and give Mandelbulb3D a try! I actually found it way easier than Apo and who knows you might like it. Plus you can always go back to Apo!
