Fractal geometry is the math of the new science of chaos and complexity Below some recycled info about fractals:

First: Check out the zoom sequences (only images) from page 4 in the pdf's BlomkΓ₯lsfort and De blΓ₯ spiralernas oΓ€ndlighet. The end motives are my deviations Cauliflowerfort and Blue Spirals

Second: In this journal you have some links to cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube.

Third: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to this journal. You don't need to know the math behind

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site.

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my Chaotic series of fractal articles if you have a little theoretical interest

.. and from the middle of the nineties there is a fantastic TV program about fractals, Colors of Infinity by Arthur Clarke Really beautiful soundtracks

Hope you don't feel spammed Just take what you want

That's a very interesting view This and all my art belong to the category "Fractals" which amongst all means that ALL the elements are there due to pure math Fractal geometry is the math of the new science of chaos and complexity Below some recycled info about fractals:

Yeah, especially when the pure math is the artist The title is inspired from a short but intense nightmare I had when I was about 10 - 12 years old ..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Greenseng In reply to FractalMonster [2013-09-29 20:45:58 +0000 UTC]

Oh,oh... Nightmares can be a little too thrilling.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FractalMonster In reply to Greenseng [2013-09-29 21:20:43 +0000 UTC]

It consisted of two parts, In the first part (that was not a nightmare) I got a feeling that a person, maybe my grandfather, came in and parked at the foot end of the bed and said "WOO". Then I probably fall down in deep sleep again. In the second part I virtually opened my eyes towards the window at my side and in the dusk I saw one or two totality black strips, that may have been at the place of the curtains, and heard the same "WOO" again! This time I felt maximum of fear and rotated a half turn in the bed and lied almost paralyzed for a long while before I fall into sleep again. This time without any nightmares Some year(s) later I had problem when, on the school library, I often turned the pages in a book of Astronomy (which I was very interested in), and a picture of the Horsehead Nebula came up giving me a little bit of the same feeling. Well, what I saw in the nightmare was two straight strips, but yet, the feelings you know

.. and here is almost a strip (actually the set M-) forming a fractured shadow in the heavenly yellowish paradise Such was not the surroundings in the dream (they where dark gray of the night), but yet

Probably a demon that wanted to check if it could tempt you in any way. It failed ... but then it found the concept of Fractals. And that was your Doom...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FractalMonster In reply to Greenseng [2013-09-30 22:43:56 +0000 UTC]

I have in memory the black hand that was coming to grasp you when you was six. The feeling you mentioned

Yeah, the fractal monsters

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Greenseng In reply to FractalMonster [2013-10-01 08:16:30 +0000 UTC]

Actually I think I was 4 years old or maybe 5. And the hand looked female.
But... demons are rumored to be female even if they sometimes can take male forms.
I don't like them, really. But they seem to like me. Don't know why.
But wait a minute here. They are female. Of course... how could I forget? That explains everything.
Doesn't it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FractalMonster In reply to Greenseng [2013-10-01 15:57:52 +0000 UTC]

OK, the similarity is that I really recognized the feeling in the short nightmare with your describtion. But I really had no thought about gender. It was only the one second vision of the black stripes in the dark gray environments, the "WOO" and the terrible feeling The gender of the demons I have no opinion of
