Description
Betraying their Archon creators, the Remnant sided with the invading Nephilim during the Great War. But this was all for naught as they themselves were betrayed, and exterminated. This would havebeen their end if it were not for the arrival of an immensely powerful entity known as the All-Being some thirty years later, raising tens of thousands from the dead. The Remnant became a new, spiritually focused, people. Forever seeking to discover the true nature of the All-Being, and to learn why they, traitors, were brought back to life.

Interesting, I had just asked the artist what the story behind these people is. So, are they an alternative warrior race of sorts for those not particularly interested in the Legion?

They are not as militaristic as the Legion, but many of them are slanted that way; motivated by religious beliefs and because their homeworld (and system) is infested with psionic ghosts that they must continuously fight back against.

So warrior monks instead of born-and-bred super-soldiers, okay then. Yeah just curious as I noticed a bit of repetition between the core book and this player's handbook.
