The limitation to three colors (four if you count the brown-grey tones of the branches and the bird) make this interesting. I agree that I'd like to see the bird's body "fuzzed" out a bit if it could be done without drawing attention to artifice. It would at least be interesting to see whether or not such a move improved things or not.
A fascinating image as it stands, though, for many of the reasons Darryl describes.

This is truly beautiful, although the camera blurred most everything but the berries(?). Knowing that the bird can fly away at any time, it's fine ;D
