I love the simple complexities of this photo. I always believe that the simple things in life are the best, and your photo captures that perfectly. With the up-close shot you have provided, the viewer can really see all of the detail in your subject. I was re-reading your critique and I really think you hit the nail on the head with this quote:

That was the ultimate purpose for this photo because this trip was most likely my last trip to our land because we have to sell it. I wanted to remember it forever
