Description This image is one of our fan commissions and features a mermaid dolphin, or a merphin. We found it to be a challenge to merge the two contrasting halves but we are quite happy with the result. The majority of our commission work comes from fans of role-playing games that want us to illustrate their characters.

The Fraim Brothers are freelance artists who are always on the lookout for more work and commission assignments. If you like what you’ve seen here at Deviantart, check out our website for more information, our commission rates and samples, and to see more of what we are capable of accomplishing. [link]

Congratulations on the skill--and the courage--to draw a hard line and make it work.

Cool water-splash effect! I like how you depict the water streaming off her arms, too. I know it's a commish, but her upper body would look cool with minor aquatic additions such as fingerwebbing and dolphinesque armfins.

Nice. I like clean linework and the details on for the water spray.

Well, yes and no. I have had people note me here, email me and other things about joining their company, offers for co-ownership on stories and the like. Besides that, being on here has been great for networking with other artists and connecting with them.

I haven't been pushing my own commissions here, but from what I see other artists do very well. The bottom line is to connect and keep making great work mate.
