Description The ability to stitch panoramic images is definitely a huge asset when it comes to storm photography. Luckily, today, this no longer has to be done by hand, but can be nearly seamlessly merged in programs like Photoshop CS5 and even free programs like Microsoft ICE. There was just no way to capture all of this storm in one image. Glad I took this panorama when I did, because by the next time we had a chance to stop, the golden light was almost completely gone.

I'll get a full account for this chase up later on my Tumblr page under the 2011 Accounts section .

I've been watching you post the parts of this panorama and a few other images and this is truly spectacular! The colors, contrast... just the whole sense of power that comes with a storm. Nature is truly amazing and you've captured part of its wonder here. Beautiful!

I must say this is one stunning panorama. The clouds are just wow! Only thing I don't really like is the very saturated yellow colour to the right (too unrealistic for my taste, unless it's real of course). Overall great photo <3
