Canon Digital Rebel XSiThe sunset wasn't quite as fantastic as I had expected, but it was cool in its own unique way. The light orange complemented the blue better than I thought, it's just the right little burst of color in a cool-toned picture. And of course, I had to work around the power lines again... minimalism anyone?

Indeed it is. It was actually quite warm outside, but whenever I look at this photo, I get a cold feeling

Id have to say, I love the power lines, they add so much to the photo. A nice, simple calm suburban setting. The contrasting yet calming colors of the sunset are really complimented by the straight, harsh lines of the power lines

I agree, they can get in the way sometimes, but there's always a way to incorporate them into the photo

I know there's a way to edit out power lines in photoshop, I just don't know exactly how to do it.
It'd make this shot look oh so much better.
I do like the blue and orange though, opposite colors on the color wheel, so they complement each other real well.

Oh I could probably just use the clone brush in Paint Shop to mask over them, of course it probably wouldn't look perfectly natural.
