Thanks Stuart. Yes, one narrow softbox and no reflectors (except what may be spilling up off the white floor and back -there is even a black 8x4 on the left to kill anything and allow the model to "conceal or reveal").
In the studio, I always work tethered, using CaptureOne, and if something ends up black and white, it will have started as black and white (no complicated conversion techniques, just saturation down to 0 during capture).
