It was an hard challenge also cause all friends I'm making portrait of, and this one as well, are so beautiful, everytime I don't feel good enough to render their beauty... so I focus more on feelings, let's say, the sensation I wanna express with the painting: in this case there is something into staying underwater that is like a lullaby... I felt like that sometimes while swimming you know...

But.. yeah... actually I do lol... I used to have my hair long down to my waist... and then... life happened and I got bald... -.- So.. yeah I do have sort of a fixation with long hair.
See in my profile pic, I'm trying to hold my hair to my head... xD

Either way, even if I'm noticing it more... I think you got a knack for painting hair, and imagining it. You can't paint natural and dream-like looking hair if you can't picture it in your mind first, and you just seem to do that very well.

mwahahahah yes. you're right. I have a thing for painting hair, just you know painting the waves of hair
dunno why maybe cause I come from manga style maybe? from comics...
well I like also geometrical patterns even tho I'm not good at it

oh did you use long hair for (metal) musical needs? or you just liked it?

Yes it's for "movement" or for a dynamical reason in composition, could be hair but could be also debris, particles, clothes, leaves, flowers, birds... something into the composition must move around an axis, possibly following any Fibonacci spiral reference or "third" rule, things like that. So most of times I solve the issue with hair, the simplest way, but one can use anything to add a sense of life, of movement, into the composition.
