Another 'old' drawing, waiting to show you the new one. The headlights have a special charm, probably a bit 'lonely, but the life of the guardian has a certain attraction for me.Pencil on watercolor Fabriano, as usual.

she's beautiful, even if some would complain of the simplicity or lack of coloration, etc... I like it for the detail nĀ power of movement it convey and truthfully makes me shudder a tad remembering such waves/ storms on Lake Superior in my youth.

A DAY TO REMEMBER.....
THERE ARE SOME DAYS IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU
NEVER FORGET.... SOMETIMES THE REASON FOR
THIS IS POSITIVE.... OTHER TIMES ... NEGATIVE.....
12 YEARS AGO TODAY, I WAS STILL WORKING AT
LISBON AIRPORT FOR AN AMERICAN AIRLINE...
THE LISBON TO NEW YORK FLIGHT HAD ALREADY
LEFT A COUPLE OF HOURS EARLIER...
AND SUDDENLY... "THE WORLD WENT CRAZY"...
I SHALL NEVER FORGET HOW STUNNED AND SHOCKED WE
ALL WERE.... APART FROM THE HORROR WE WERE
WATCHING ON THE T.V. SCREEN.... IT THEN OCCURED TO
US THAT "OUR PLANE" WAS STILL IN THE AIR.....
IT WAS ONLY 20HRS LATER THAT WE GOT A CALL
FROM THE CAPTAIN OF "OUR FLIGHT", THEY WERE SAFE,
THEY HAD BEEN REROUTED TO BERMUDA.... :iconyeeplz:
THAT WAS THE YEAR I LEFT COMMERCIAL AVIATION...
JUST 2 MONTHS AFTER THIS.... I HAD HAD ENOUGH....
FOR TOO MANY REASONS.... 
I LOVE B&W WORKS... AND DO NOT ASSOCIATE THEM WITH
ANY NEGATIVE FEELINGS.
