Description Done with the Fractal Science Kit. Very similar results as you would get from the "Tutorial___Splits_elliptic_by_SaTaNiA" for Apophysis. Background added in PSP8.

most gorgeous!!!
thanks for the mention and you're right I know NOTHING about the math, tho using FSK, FE, UF have all helped familiarize me, at least, with it...

I've got books on math & fractal math but I haven't been able to tear myself away from the computer long enough to read them. A very good one is "The Science Of Fractal Images" Gotta get going on that one. You could probably pick one up cheap used at Amazon.com. That's what I did.

I'd probably get lost in the theory, (tho I have always loved math) so I mostly stick to the computer too!!!

Why thank you Dragantia. Believe it or not it was quite easy to make in the Fractal Science Kit Fractal Generator compared to Apophysis. With Apo there's more moves required for this particular kind of fractal. Although FSK is by no means easy to understand it has a good selection of tutorials to go through & lots of example files Ross updates periodically to examine & reproduce to see how they were made. You can easily open the fractal in a new copy of the program & work through it step by step going through the editor pages 1st to last. It's a very versatile program you can do any kind of fractal there is with it from classic, ifs, orbit trap, orbital,L system, flames you name it.

Its a pleasure.
It's very interesting. I've seen some of the fractals made with FSk and they are beautiful and quite diverse. Where do you get it from though?

Here's the URL: [link] It's not at all expensive I think it's around $30-$40. Just so you know it discusses math in the help & tutorials & I & most people don't understand the math behind fractals so it can be a bit confusing in that respect reading the docs. But it also discusses the steps required step by step to accomplish the fractal creation & that's what I try to concentrate on. I'ld really like to learn more about the math to fractaling anyway & this program can help me do it. One good book on the subject is "The Science Of Fractal Images" which I've got & you could purchase from Amazon.com for a low price if you get a used version. That's what I did. But again knowing the math is not necessary to learn how to operate the program & do fractal work with it. I enjoy it anyway not even knowing the math at this time. The thing is if you want to understand it you really have to study algebra, trigonometry, & calculus as well. So you're talking a few years of hard core study to get there. Buhhdakat9 an artist here at DA uses FSK too & she doesn't know the math either.

Thanks!
It probably would be nice to understand all the math behind fractals but not if it means that much calculus and trig, But thank you for the links and the name of the book, I'll definitley go see if I can find it. Oh, um, FractalMonster [link] has some articles on fractals and some of the math behind them. I read one when I had some time and they seem to explain quite well, the link is here [link]
