~Gerard's POV~

I slowly walked down to my room with my coffee in hand. It felt as if the happiness in my life was just slipping away with every step. Every time my foot reaches the ground, I feel it echo through my body, it's like the echo of my heartbeat. The darkness was creeping back into my head, It used to happen a few times when I inadvertently let my guard down and let my mind wander but now it's everyday, all the time, I can't get away from it.
I couldn't escape it.

Concentrate Gerard, Think of nothing. That way you won't think of something you shouldn't.

I'm sitting in my room trying to draw but I'm jittery and twitchy, I can't keep still.

It's just the coffee, it's just the coffee

I decide to go back upstairs, I know Mikey is home now. It's been hours since Frank left. Time does that to me. It creeps up.

"Hey Gerard" Mikey says happily,
I can here the hope in his voice, he is hoping I reply with the same tone.

"Hi"
But I don't,

"Gerard?"
He knows.

"Yeah"

He walks towards me and pulls me toward him and gives me a hug, I wrap my arms around his shoulders.

~Mikey's POV~

I can feel his chest shaking as he breaths. I know it's back.

"Come on" I take his hand and we walk down to his room.

"Talk to me Gerard"

"It's nothing, It's just… there"

"I knew I shouldn't of gone for the whole weekend, I'm sorry"

"I had Frankie"

"Who?"
I hadn't heard him say this name before.

"Frankie, the boy from the coffee shop, Mikey… I really like him"

"Really?"

"Yes"
This was big, Gerard didn't make decisions like this overnight. He has been thinking about this.

"When did he leave"

"Earlier, He is nice"
He gave a small smile and the light flickered in his eyes, then it was gone.

He walked over he his bed and laid out on his back, I slowly walked over and laid with him.

Time in Gerard room flew by, I fell asleep and woke up when my phone rang in my pocket. I quickly blocked the call and went back to resting next to Gerard. I didn't want to wake him, I knew his mind was at rest when he was asleep, for now.
