On this Widik island, mostly consisting of white sand, you see boats and huts from fishermen from Sulawesi who camp there to dry the fish in the hot sun. They live there only temporarily. At night they leave the island with their boats because of the billions of hungy mosquitoes that live in this area. I was told that these mosquitoes once attacked a dog and killed him. Wild nature!!!
