Nice. Did you sandwich these guys in glass or what? I like the minimalist approach, thought it could also work on top of an old stamp or some sort of collage.

They're between thin sheets of plastic. I hadn't thought of a stamp background, that's a really cool idea!

Even though it isn't quite the right vintage I've always wanted to figure out how to do steampunk collage with more travel stuff. I'm used to wrapping stones, so can't quite figure how to do something like this.

Your H.G. Wells watch is pretty damn cool. Steampunk jewelry seems to be all about just finding the right stuff. I've got a baggie of doodads that will turn into something... someday...

That was kind of dumb luck. The original watch was one I bought for myself- not thought of steampunk. Till I found I got screwed and it'd cost too much to fix. So I needed to find something else to do with the parts. Yeah, a lot of it is finding the right stuff. I was thrilled to find the hourglass, though I'd love to find smaller ones. I know they make them... And yeah, I think there's a fine line between craft supplies and hoarding. (And I probably tapdance that line daily
