That's a ton of people! :0
Would you say it's easier to get attention on other web sites, or should I keep using Deviantart as my main place?

Sorry for the late reply!
I say it's best to stick to 2 places than just one. but if you post your work on too many places, that won't do anything or get you anywhere. But deviantart art alone, not many people use it as much. I only visit my deviantart once a month or so

I am not Frario, nor an influencial person, but I would like to say that to get attention on the internet is not linear. Think about your promotion as a bussiness.

I j ow it isn't easier, but some places get more attention than others, you know? Even on Deviantart I've had a drawing less impressive than another of mine get hundreds of views, just because it was in the right place.
...plus, I know nothing about trending social media sites.

That is the issue: it is quite hard to predict where to place yourself.
Also, checking references about ongoing trends might help.
