LOL I know exactly what you mean! Yes, they made them a bit too long, especially the upper ones. Also mine a quite old now and not so stiff anymore. Maybe it's a good idea to leave them out when appying leather care so they don't get too soft and start "flying around"...

I'll have to keep that tip in mind If it even gets that bad then I might even just use something to hold them down against the boot itself when I'm not wearing them which might help out a bit as well
