Just relaxing by the river Rhine in Dusseldorf, and it was a lovely day, sun high in the sky, so I took a photo. My phone camera can take photos in black and white, sepia, negative and normal. So I took this photo of the Dusseldorf skyline and Rhine promenade using sepia. I played around with the editting tools on my computer (standard: saturation, tint, contrast) and made the sun look seriously bright, like it was close to going supernova and swallowing us all whole, like scientists predict will happen in a few billion years! I love how the contrast makes the buildings and the Rhine Tower look so dark in contrast against the bright yellow/orange sky. Does actually look seriously hot though doesn't it?

Now I'm back in England, waiting for the lovely winter we have here in the Midlands =____=
