Description Coins are quite interesting actually, especially ones here in the UK. They seem to come up with more and more funkier designs on the back. Of course the front has Liz on it...her face has to be everywhere.

Anyhow, I saw this coin and thought too good to pass up - must take a photo and be all artsy and whatever I claim to be. And of course, I just would not be me if I didn't upload a macro photo every so often.

Looks better in black and white, the lettering really pops, especially against the background of my Ikea denim cushion.

It's cool as well because I didn't know until I got this coin that 1807 was when the "ball got rolling" to end the slave trade (according to Wikipedia, the slave trade in the UK at least didn't actually end until 1833), but cool nonetheless.

Editing: Took the photo with the black and white filter, and adjusted contrast and brightness and whatever until the whole thing became more striking. I also added borders on the top and bottom (hence why it's narrower horizontally), to further draw the eye to the subject, rather than the background.
