yeah hair is difficult.

BTW, I'm working on Chapter 1 for Shojo. Sorry if it's taking a while
but it's like I'm trying to get a feel for the characters and how they would react in the situations.
The pacing is gonna be a slow burn
at first but this is to mislead the
audience. Also I'm going to note you on a potential outline for the story.

Alrighty, I'll take a look at it

great.

btw there will be much more to the story than just the outline. that's just the gist of it.

Also if 7+ volumes sounds too intimidating, don't worry I only
plan to do so if the project
is successful.

Our main focus ought be Chapter 1
and promoting the series.

Question:

What do you wish to actually do for this project? Write? Draw? Both?

Heheh okie dokie. And I can do both. Both would honestly be better for me because I'd be able to have a chance to improve both skills.

Alright.

How about this...

I'll write Chapter 1.
You then write Chapter 2.
I'll write Chapter 3
You write Chapter 4.
I'll write Chapter 5

Each chapter is 20 pages
or 4 scenes of 5 pages each
(the scenes don't have be
to 5 pages each nor is the
20 pages a set number. This
is just a guide.)

As long as you follow the outline
there shouldn't be much problems
for consistency errors.

Feel free to invent new characters
as you please.

Romance is fine in the story but let's keep it at hugs and kisses.

Violence is alright but let's focus more on the action than blood and gore.

Do you've any suggestions?
If you do then just tell me.

The atmosphere in the beginning
will be quite ridiculous. But don't worry as cheesy and lovey dovey
as it may get it's not the "real"
storyline. Hints are ok but try not to give away the storyline. Just be really subtle.

that should be it

Alrighty that all sounds good to me. I'll copy down the outline and everything. Let me know whenever you're finished with chapter one. It may take me a while to get chapter 2 finished because I've still got things on my to do list but I'll work on it here and there if you finish the first chapter before I finish all my work

alright.

btw as far as drawing the comic goes...

Would you mind being the background artist while I draw the foreground?
Then I'll combine them in layers.

I don't mean to give you the short end of the stick. The reason I suggest this is 2 reasons

1. You can draw backgrounds better than I can. Plus since I think you mostly draw digitally you can draw backgrounds faster than I could.
Also I won't be very picky on
what the backgrounds look like.
I trust your artistic discretion.

2. Naturally I'm more familiar with my own characters then you would be. It's not that I don't think you could draw them but more for the sake of consistency. Also I will be drawing props too and you will still be able to draw the characters in the background.

3. It will be faster this way if we are both working on something at the same time rather than taking turns. At least I think it will.

Tell me what you think?

Yeah sounds good to me, and that makes sense for you to be drawing the characters.
